DuncanFest 2021

The first ever DuncanFest will be held April 16 (Friday) and April 17 (Saturday). Golfers will have a chance to show off their game on Friday. Runners can get a break from their normal exercise routine on Saturday. Walkers can walk all the course or turn around any time due to the way the course is set-up. The run is approximately 2.9 miles as shown in the course map below. If you don’t know what a color run is don’t feel bad Mayor Rogers and the Town Councilors had never heard of it either. The video embedded below will give you the general idea.

We like to think of the color run as two color runs in one. It can be:

  • A hard core color run for those who like to push their limits and possibly set the course record, or
  • As easy of a run/walk as you want. The course is set-up so you can turn around at any time. You will still get hit with color both ways. Exceptions will be made for children who don’t want to be colored.

There will be rides, bands and food as well. All proceeds from the golf tournament and the color run will go towards the Breaking Bread for Jesus soup kitchen. This is a soup kitchen that will serve the Duncan/Lyman/Wellford area.

The run/walk course map shown above can be downloaded in a printable PDF format by clicking here. Feel free to share it with others by printing it out or copying the above image to social media.

The registration form for the color run can be downloaded by clicking here.

The registration form for the golf tournament can be downloaded by clicking here.

The car show will be held at the newly redone Stoneledge Park in Duncan. It should be a good one because the person in charge was disappointed that only eighty spaces were available. There is no registration form but if you are interested in showing off your “baby” please call Misty at (864) 804-7148 to register. Please call Misty with any other questions.
